- Read the vacancy notice on nepalpolice.gov.np. It lists the posts, qualification, age and physical requirements, fee and deadline.
- Register and apply on the official careers portal, careers.nepalpolice.gov.np, following the instructions in the notice.
- Keep a printout of your application and follow later notices for the test schedule and venue.

Selection process (छनौट प्रक्रिया)
Police selection typically combines physical fitness tests, a written exam, a medical examination and an interview. The exact stages, their order and the pass standards are set out in each notice.
Candidates who fail one stage do not go on to the next, so prepare for the physical test as seriously as the written paper.
