First Phase – preliminiary exam consisting MCQ(Objective) (Total: 100 Marks)

Second Phase: Written Examination consisting Subjective questions

 1st paper

• Academic Qualification: Intermediate Level (10+2) in management stream.

• Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age:
  • 35 years (General)
  • 40 years (Women and Disabled)

• How to Apply for ADBL Vacancies

• Visit the Official Website Go to adbl.gov.np.
• Access the Careers Section Click on the “Careers” section or directly visit adbl.gov.np/career.
• Select the Desired Position Browse the list of current vacancies and choose the one that matches your qualifications and interests.
• Complete the Online Application Form Fill in your personal details, educational background, and work experience as required.
• Upload Necessary Documents Attach scanned copies of your academic certificates, citizenship, and other relevant documents.
• Pay the Application Fee Submit the applicable fee online. The fee varies by position:
  • Level 6 and above: NPR 1,000 for open group; additional NPR 400 per inclusive group.
  • Level 3 and 4: NPR 800 for open group; additional NPR 200 per inclusive group.​
• Submit the Application Review all information and submit your application before the deadline.

⚠️ Negative Marking in MCQs

• 20% deduction for each wrong answer ❌

🏫 Exam Center & Timing

• Assistant-level: Held in respective Provinces (e.g., Pokhara)
• Officer-level: Usually centralized
• Must bring: Admit Card + Citizenship/Govt. ID
• Arrive 1 hour early ⏰
