First Paper Syllabus Sec. Level Teacher Service Overview:
Written Examination Overview:
Total Written Exam Marks: 200
Paper 1: General Examination – 100 Marks
Paper 2: Subject-Specific Examination – 100 Marks
Candidates must pass the General Examination to qualify for the Subject-Specific Examination.
Final results will be calculated as:
Marks obtained in Subject Exam + 50% of General Exam Marks

Key Notes:
A time limit of 1 hour is set for the objective/multiple-choice examination.
For each incorrect answer in the objective/multiple-choice questions, 20% of the marks allocated to that question will be deducted. However, no marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.
Even if a particular law (Act, Regulation) or policy is mentioned in this syllabus, any amendment made up to 3 months before the exam date (either added, removed, or updated) will be considered part of the syllabus.
The General Examination will be common for all advertised subject areas.
Only those candidates who pass the General Examination will be eligible to appear in the Subject-Specific Examination.
The final written exam result will be prepared by adding 50% of the marks obtained in the General Exam to the marks obtained in the Subject-Specific Exam.
