Complete Guide :Lower Sec. Teacher service syallabus, Tips & Tricks

Introduction

The Lower Secondary Level in Nepal covers Grades 6 to 8, where teachers play a vital role in shaping students’ academic foundations. The Teacher Service Commission (TSC) conducts competitive exams to recruit qualified teachers for this level.

Syllabus

Written Examination: Full Marks 200

The Third Level of Basic Lower Secondary Teacher Written Examination is a comprehensive assessment designed to evaluate prospective teachers’ competency. The exam is divided into two main sections: the General Examination and the Subject Examination, each with a total of 100, culminating in 200 marks.

To ensure fairness and up-to-date knowledge, any amendments or additions to the syllabus that took effect three months before this exam should be considered included in this exam syllabus.

General Examination (100 Marks)

The General Examination is common for all subjects. It consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, and applicants should secure 50 marks to pass it.

Candidates are given 1 hour to complete the objective/multiple-choice portion, where accuracy is crucial as 20% of the total marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
