2. WHAT IS THE MONTHLY SALARY OF A COMPUTER OFFICER?
The monthly salary of a Computer Officer ranges from Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 47,500.
3. HOW MANY MARKS ARE REQUIRED TO PASS THE FIRST PAPER OF THE COMPUTER OFFICER EXAM?
To pass the first stage of the Computer Officer exam, candidates must score at least 40 out of 100 marks. This stage is known as the First Stage.
EXAM FORMAT FOR THE FIRST STAGE:
- The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
- Each question carries 1 mark
- The exam must be completed within 1 hour 15 minutes
MARKING SCHEME:
- For Wrong Answers: 20% of the marks for that question will be deducted
- For Unanswered Questions: No marks will be added or deducted
- Use of Calculators: Calculators are not allowed during the exam
NOTE: The marks obtained in the first stage will be included in the final written examination.
Only candidates who pass the first stage will be allowed to participate in the second stage of the exam.
4. WHAT IS THE ARRANGEMENT FOR THE SECOND STAGE OF THE COMPUTER OFFICER EXAM?
The second written examination will consist of 5 subjective questions, each carrying 10 marks.
- Total Marks: 50
- Exam Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
FINAL RESULT CALCULATION:
- The total marks obtained in both the 1st phase and 2nd phase will be calculated to determine the final result of the written examination.
- Only the applicants who qualify in the written exam will be eligible to participate in the practical exam, group test, and interview.
